Work Progresses on Huntsville International Airport Main Concourse Upgrades

Robins & Morton is working on three improvement projects at Huntsville International Airport in Alabama. The $13-million main concourse renovation, which began in April 2023, will increase accessibility for travelers with the addition of a second elevator and a second set of escalators. The existing elevator and escalators will also be replaced, and two new sets of stairs will be installed. To complete the upgrades, temporary ramps were constructed to connect the security exit area to the concourse, maintaining uninterrupted access for travelers to their gates. Now underway, Embassy Suites Gulf Shores, a full-service resort overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and its white sand beaches located in Gulf Shores, is a joint venture between DD Partners, Woodbine and Peachtree. The architect of record for the project is PFVS, and the contractor is Robins & Morton. AdventHealth Breaks Ground on New Health Plaza

New Long-Term Care Facility Tops Out for Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority

Construction firm Robins & Morton, McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture and Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority staff members gathered Oct. 19 in Cherokee, North Carolina, to mark the topping out of a new long-term care facility, the Tsali Care Center, devoted to the care of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The ceremony was held just one day shy of the one-year anniversary of the groundbreaking for the facility. Robins & Morton Completes Facilities Leased to Northrop Grumman

Robins & Morton and Corporate Office Properties Trust completed two build-to-suit facilities and a parking deck in Huntsville, Alabama, which have been leased by Northrop Grumman. The project team also included Powers Brown Architecture.   The two Class A tilt-wall buildings total approximately 260,000 square feet and each stand five stories tall.   Sitework and construction began in February 2021.
