In the fall of 2022, Collin College Technical Campus in Allen, Texas officially launched a construction safety program. It is designed to prepare students to enter the workforce as entry-level construction safety officers by providing a wide variety of construction safety and management courses. The program also provides the opportunity to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree that is specific to the construction industry. Liberty Sky was named the Excellence in Concrete winner in the Commercial Structures category, while the Saratoga Springs Utah Temple won in the Precast/Tilt-up Structures category. The Wisconsin Center District recently gathered with state and local leaders to celebrate the topping-off milestone for the expanded Baird Center in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This achievement marks the completion of the steel structure of the expansion. Gilbane Building Company and C.D. Smith Construction, who have formed a joint venture as Gilbane | Smith Wisconsin Center Expansion, are the general contractors on the project. After nearly three years of tackling unexpected project challenges including substantial design-related change orders, long lead times for permanent power and COVID-19, the Bay Meadows Station 5 team celebrated achieving temporary certificate of occupancy 45 days ahead of schedule. Bay Meadows Stations 1 and 5 were One Webcor projects delivered by Webcor Builders, Concrete, Drywall and Carpentry in partnership with architecture firm HOK. UHealth at Doral Medical Center Tops Out

The topping out of UHealth at Doral, a six-story, 160,000-square-foot medical center being built in downtown Doral, Florida was recently celebrated. The facility is part of a mixed-use community in Miami-Dade County. When it opens, UHealth at Doral will include 33 exam rooms, eight operating rooms, three endoscopy suites, 33 cancer treatment units, comprehensive radiology services, a lab, onsite pharmacy, seven-story parking garage and supporting central energy plant.
