Chicago Bears Unveils Halas Hall Expansion

The Chicago Bears recently unveiled the Halas Hall expansion, which included a 162,500-square-foot football operations addition to the already existing 143,000-square-foot facility and a 30,600-square-foot remodeling project on the northeast side of the building. The project broke ground in Lake Forest, Illinois, in March 2018. HOK was the design firm, Mortenson Construction was the general contractor and Corporate Concepts provided the furniture. BAM Denmark to Build New School in Sluseholmen

The design and construction of a new school at Sluseholmen has been awarded to BAM Denmark, together with JJW Architects, consulting engineers AB Clausen and JL Engineering, Thing Brandt Landscape and Keingart, for the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. The new three-track school will be built at Sluseholmen between Sjællandsbroen and by Stigbordene, and will accommodate approximately 840 students. China State Construction to Manage Hong Kong Palace Museum Project

Recently, China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (a subsidiary of China State Construction), won the bid for the Hong Kong Palace Museum Project. The project is located at the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong. It is the first pavilion established by the Palace Museum with the name “Forbidden City” outside of Mainland China. The total gross floor area of the project is about 43,000 meters, and the scope of works includes a seven-floor main museum building with surrounding parking lots and supporting traffic facilities.
