PCL Construction recently celebrated the official opening of the new DARE (Discovery, Applied Research, and Entrepreneurship) District Building, located in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. This project consisted of renovations, an expansion and an addition to Building C on the Woodroffe Campus. Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., in consortium with Idom, has been appointed by Transport Infrastructure Ireland as employer’s designer for the development and implementation of Ireland’s first metro system, central to a new multi-modal transport strategy to support Dublin’s continued economic growth. Hill International Assists Ikos Resorts with First Destination Project in Spain

Hill International will manage the complete remodeling of the Princess Estepona and Costa del Sol Resort for Ikos Resorts. Located on the Mediterranean coast just south of Malaga in Spain, the project will raise the resort from a four-star destination to a five-star guest experience. For Ikos, the project represents a further commitment to providing boutique, luxury facilities for its guests, as well as the company’s first project outside of Greece. New $375M Healthcare, Education & Research Building Expands Medical Corridor

The LiRo Group, serving as construction manager in a joint venture with Gilbane Building Company, architect HOK and general contractor LPCiminelli, have completed the new, ultra-modern building for the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, New York. At 628,000 square feet, it is the largest recently constructed medical education building in the United States, and the largest new building to have been erected in downtown Buffalo in decades.
