Tower Tops Off Construction at 55 Stories in Miami

OKO Group and Cain International’s 830 Brickell office tower has topped off construction at 55 stories. Once completed later this year, the project will be the first standalone office tower to be developed in Miami’s urban core in more than a decade. The tower’s amenities will include a rooftop bar/lounge and restaurant – with menus developed alongside a three-Michelin-starred chef – showcasing expansive views of the City and Biscayne Bay, a health and wellness center, conferencing facilities, an outdoor terrace, cafés and street-level retail. Gilbane Building Company, Gensler and the entire project team celebrated the official opening of the 225 Wyman Street development, a 507,000-square-foot, five-story, ground-up life sciences facility in Massachusetts. Framing Complete for 1M-Square-Foot Development in Missouri

McCarthy Building Companies completed the framing of Forsyth Pointe, a nearly 1-million-square-foot mixed use development occupying an entire square city block in Clayton, Missouri. The development by US Capital Development features two steel-framed, all glass Class A office towers with street-level retail space offering spectacular views of the adjacent 30-acre Shaw Park. Highlights include Commerce Bank Tower, a 10-story, 265,000-square-foot high-rise, as well as an 8-story, 210,000-square-foot west tower. The Language Arts Complex at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California recently topped out. Sundt Construction served as the general contractor on the project — the third project on the campus and fourth project for the Coast Community College District.
