Los Angeles U.S. Courthouse Reaches Substantial Completion
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – After three years of construction, the Design-Build team led by Clark Construction Group and project partner SOM has reached substantial completion on the General Services Administration’s new United States Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles, California. PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Tutor Perini has recently set a record in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with the mat foundation pour for the W/Element Hotel. Beginning at 2 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, Tutor Perini Building Corp. and the team responsible for the construction of the new W/Element Hotel development made history in Center City Philadelphia. Linbeck Group Finishes Sunset Coffee Building Rehabilitation
HOUSTON, Texas – Linbeck Group has recently completed downtown Houston, Texas’ historic Sunset Coffee Building located at Allen’s Landing near Main and Commerce streets. Purchased by Buffalo Bayou Partnership in 2003, as part of its master plan to transform a 10-mile stretch of the neglected Buffalo Bayou into a thriving waterfront, the 12,700-square-foot former coffee-roasting facility required extensive work to rehabilitate the 1910 industrial building. Construction Complete on Bethune-Cookman University Residence Halls
Hensel Phelps has completed the construction of four new residence halls for Quantum Equity One LLC at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. The four brand-new residence halls provide an additional 1,204 beds for students. The design and construction of this project was a collaborative effort between Hensel Phelps’ Development Group and Construction Group. Hensel Phelps Services Group has recently signed a contract with Bethune-Cookman to provide post-occupancy services to the university, thus integrating a total project solution for this landmark project.
