Ground is Broken on New 1M-SF Distribution Center at Gateway 57

Co-developers CRG, the real estate development group of Clayco and Venture One Real Estate recently broke ground on a 1,000,560-square-foot distribution center in University Park, Illinois. The state-of-the-art 36-foot clear cross-dock distribution facility will be occupied by Georgia Pacific upon completion. The Georgia Pacific distribution center is the first building in Gateway 57 Industrial Park in University Park, a 127-acre development located at the northwest corner of the newly constructed interchange of I-57 and Stuenkel Road. BNBuilders, AC Martin to Renovate Caltech Biomedical Laboratory

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – BNBuilders is the design/builder with AC Martin to renovate a Caltech biomedical laboratory for Professor Lihong Wang, a new Medical Engineering professor with Caltech’s Engineering & Applied Science Division. The new laboratory will bring Dr. Wang’s breakthrough research and tissue imaging capabilities to Caltech in Pasadena, California. The renovated space will feature new imaging laboratories, a tissue culture room, an instrument room and office space of approximately 10,800 square feet. Sundt Crew Digs Up Solution that Keeps Project Moving

Sometimes the most challenging part of construction work happens underground. A Sundt team ran into just such an issue on a project for Southwestern College and quickly developed a way to climb out of the hole. While starting utility relocations for a 25,000-square-foot science building on the National City, California campus, they ran across two old storage tanks located 8-10 feet below grade.
