Kraus-Anderson has completed a new $24-million medical building in Windom, Minnesota for Windom Area Health. Recognizing the growing needs of the region, WAH partnered with Sanford Health to develop a 52,000-square foot clinic expansion owned by the city of Windom and funded by WAH. The project creates a connection to the existing hospital while establishing a separate clinic identity. Designed by Pope Architects, the new building houses Sanford Health Clinic, Windom Specialty Clinics and a third-floor shell space to accommodate future growth. Built by McCarthy Building Companies, the building replaces an aging EMS station and enhances emergency response capabilities in the region. Located on the main Phelps Health campus in Rolla, Missouri, nestled in the heart of the Ozarks, approximately 105 miles south of St. Louis, the base was partially funded by a $4 million American Rescue Plan Act grant from the state of Missouri.
