Swinerton Builders announced the completion of a renovation project at Catawba Ridge High School that establishes a cosmetology training facility for in-district high school students. The 3,345-square-foot multipurpose environment provides the opportunity for hands-on experiential learning. Started last spring, the renovation was complete in time for the 2025-26 scholastic year. The cosmetology renovation converted four existing classrooms into a specialized training environment, complete with a retail salon space. The Tennessee Builders Alliance celebrated a major milestone in the construction of the new Nissan Stadium, the future home of the Tennessee Titans, with a topping out ceremony, marking the placement of the final beam in the stadium’s structural steel frame. The Titans and Tennessee Builders Alliance broke ground on the project in March 2024 and in less than two years have made significant progress toward the stadium’s anticipated spring 2027 opening. Renovation projects at two of metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia’s historical educational institutions: Spelman College in Atlanta, the nation’s oldest historically Black college for women, and Agnes Scott College in Decatur, a historically female university serving Atlanta for over 130 years, are complete. Ground Broken on New Cargo Facilities at San Francisco International Airport
Ground was broken on a new cargo facilities project at San Francisco International Airport in California. Encompassing a new cargo building and ancillary ground service equipment maintenance building, the redevelopment project will allow the airport to meet growing cargo demands and improve operations efficiency and safety. Skanska is serving as the general contractor on the project The new cargo facility will include 95,000 square feet of cargo area and 25,000 square feet of mezzanine office space.
