LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Tishman Construction, a unit of AECOM, will manage construction of One Vanderbilt, a world-class commercial office development in Manhattan. Tishman will construct One Vanderbilt for New York City’s largest commercial property owner, SL Green Realty Corp. The 1,401-foot-tall skyscraper is designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and located in the heart of New York’s East Midtown business district. Ground is Broken on City of Hoover Sports and Events Center

HOOVER, Ala. – The city of Hoover recently broke ground on the Hoover Sports and Events Center. The facility will be built adjacent to the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium on 120 acres and is estimated to cost $76 million. Features of the facility include an indoor events center, outdoor sports fields, tennis complex and RV park expansion. Big-D Construction Completes BYU-Idaho Central Energy Facility Project

REXBURG, Idaho – Big-D Construction recently reached completion on the BYU-Idaho Central Energy Facility located in Rexburg, Idaho. The new 28,000-square-foot building, on which construction began in 2013, has allowed BYU-Idaho to replace its coal-fired boilers with natural gas-fired boilers. The original heating plant, in operation since 1963, had reached the end of its usable life span. The new facility was built adjacent to what was the existing heating plant. Knutson Awarded Renovation of Rochester Minnesota National Guard Armory

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Knutson Construction has been awarded the contract to renovate the Minnesota National Guard Armory, located in Rochester, Minnesota. The project is estimated at $5 million with an anticipated completion date of July 2017. The project includes a 30,000-square-foot remodel (demolition and rebuild) of the interior office areas, gymnasium, storage areas, training rooms, locker rooms and kitchen.
