Ground was recently broken on Queensbridge Collective, a transformative mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Clark Construction Group is serving as construction manager-at-risk. Other project team members include Riverside Investment & Development, Woodfield Development, Goettsch Partners and CBRE . Located at a popular intersection in Charlotte’s South End Neighborhood, the development includes a 42-story multifamily tower with 409 units; a 35-story, 600,000-square-foot office building; nearly 30,000 square feet of retail and 1,600 parking spaces. A $414-million renovation of Pennsylvania Station’s Long Island Railroad Concourse in New York, New York is complete. The project, awarded to Skanska, AECOM and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill by Penn District Station Developer LLC in 2020, aimed to modernize and widen LIRR’s 33rd Street train hall corridor, while maintaining the station’s daily operations and train service. PCL Construction celebrated the construction completion of Denver Public School’s Glenbrook Greenhouse – a $4.5-million, 28,000-square-foot greenhouse spanning four acres on the southwestern tip of the city and county of Denver, Colorado. The greenhouse can hold up to 3,500 plants with a warehouse area to accommodate shipping of vegetables to DPS’ over 200 schools serving more than 90,000 students.
