PCL Construction Completes Greenhouse to Feed Students

PCL Construction celebrated the construction completion of Denver Public School’s Glenbrook Greenhouse – a $4.5-million, 28,000-square-foot greenhouse spanning four acres on the southwestern tip of the city and county of Denver, Colorado. The greenhouse can hold up to 3,500 plants with a warehouse area to accommodate shipping of vegetables to DPS’ over 200 schools serving more than 90,000 students. With PCL and DPS having a long-standing relationship of over 35 years, PCL was honored to help support this “farm to cafeteria” project. Siena College and Gilbane Building Company jointly hosted a groundblessing ceremony to celebrate the start of construction on an expanded science complex at Nobel Hall in Loudonville, New York. Father Mark Reamer, vice president of mission at Siena College, blessed water distributed over the site by the Shaker Road Fire Department. The new science complex at Nobel Hall, designed by WCGS Architects, will feature 40,000 square feet of all-new specialized laboratories and active learning spaces across three floors when completed. C.W. Driver Companies Breaks Ground on New Pasadena Campus

Driver SPG, an affiliate of C.W. Driver Companies, has broken ground on a new campus addition to Villa Esperanza Services, a nonprofit which has served intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals in Los Angeles and Ventura counties since 1961. The project will be built across two phases, replacing existing structures. The first phase consists of an 8,600 square-foot occupational therapy clinic, a 21,000 square-foot physical education and therapeutic center and three additional school classrooms. Jaguars Unveil Plans for ‘Stadium of the Future’

The Jacksonville Jaguars introduced conceptual designs for the Stadium of the Future, a design project nearly three years in the making intended to inspire a transformation of Downtown Jacksonville and secure NFL football in Northeast Florida well into the future. The Jaguars and city of Jacksonville officials began work toward a long-term stadium solution in July 2020 with a thorough engineering assessment of the current stadium, TIAA Bank Field.
