Construction on a four-story vertical expansion and renovation project at BayCare’s St. Anthony’s Hospital, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, is complete. Robins & Morton served as the general contractor on the project, which included 143,000 square feet of new construction and 75,000 square feet of renovation. The scope included adding 90 new private patient rooms and support space, a dialysis unit and three new surgical suites with connections to the existing hospital at key levels. Skanska Selected to Rebuild Offshore Wind Staging Port at Portsmouth Marine Terminal

Skanska has been selected by the Virginia Port Authority to redevelop approximately 72 acres of the 287-acre Portsmouth Marine Terminal for use as an offshore wind staging port. The $223-million project includes improving 1,500 feet of an existing 3,540-foot wharf. McShane to Transform Two Historic Schools into Affordable Housing in llinois

McShane Construction Company was selected by Housing For All, LLC in collaboration with Visionary Ventures, Cordogan Clark & Associates and JTE Real Estate Services to build Fox Valley Apartments in Aurora, Illinois. McShane will renovate two historic school buildings and construct one new building to provide a total of 47 affordable housing units. The company will transform the 25,000-square-foot Mary A. Kroger’s Customer Fulfillment Center Celebrates Ribbon Cutting  

The Kroger Company opened its newest Customer Fulfillment Center at the end of July in Dallas, Texas. The project team included Big-D Construction – National Food & Beverage and Architectural Nexus. The center will leverage advanced robotics technology and creative solutions to redefine the customer experience for customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The warehouse is a 492,000-square-foot, steel frame building constructed with insulated metal panels and includes refrigerated and non-refrigerated areas. The two-story building features four mezzanines, 31,000 square-feet of office space, and a 26,000 square-foot freezer, plus vehicle maintenance and van wash buildings.

Skanska to Upgrade Durham Bulls Athletic Park

The Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina will be upgraded by Skanska USA. Onsite construction is slated to begin in August and will be completed by April 2023. Skanska’s work at park includes renovations and upgrades to: the players’ locker rooms; coaches’ offices; facilities for female staff and athletes, umpires and team officials; a new batting tunnel; office and retail reconfigurations; and larger clubhouses for both home and visiting teams.
