The ACPA announced its first dedicated safety director: Tabah Nez. This inaugural position was created to further ACPA’s safety and certification programs for concrete pumping professionals. As ACPA Safety Director, Nez will be responsible for developing and overseeing all safety and risk management activities, including safety programs, committees, bulletins and resources. Swinerton, in collaboration with affordable housing provider Mercy Housing California, announced dozens of youths participated in the “Minds Under Construction” festival in San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood on Nov. 5. At the event, which was dedicated to advancing understanding and inspiring passion for the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, participants worked with 3D printers and learned about designing earthquake-safe homes, working with electrical circuitry and water engineering. Gilbane | Turner in Association with 34 Group Selected to Build Stadium for the Buffalo Bills
