The Kirjalansalmi Bridge, Finland’s longest road bridge by clear span, has officially opened, marking a major milestone in the country’s transport infrastructure. Commissioned by an alliance partnership between contractor Kreate and the Finnish transport infrastructure agency Väylävirasto, the new bridge replaces the existing 1963 suspension bridge that had reached the end of its lifespan due to fatigue damage. Esh Construction to Begin Repairs on Drypool Bridge in Hull
Hull City Council in the city of Kingston (England) has appointed Esh Construction to deliver the Drypool Bridge project in partnership with Mason Clark Associates. Initial construction activity will concentrate on the south side of the bridge, which involves removal of footpath railings, surfacing and partial carriageway and curb sections. A significant milestone has been reached in the multi-million-pound project that will restore and preserve England’s Grade II listed Tyne Bridge for future generations.
