New Geosciences Research Center Tapped for Oslo, Norway

Skanska has signed a contract with Campus Ullevål AS, the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, and Aspelin Ramm, to build Campus Ullevål in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 1.0 billion, about SEK 1.0 billion. Campus Ullevål will become a research center for climate, energy, environment and engineering-related geosciences, and will be one of the first buildings to be completed in Oslo Science City — the capital’s new innovation district. Construction of SEK 5.2-Billion Subsea Tunnel in Norway Begins

Skanska has signed a contract with the Norwegian Road Authority to build a subsea tunnel in Rogaland County, Norway. The contract is worth approximately NOK 5 billion, about SEK 5.2 billion, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2022. The E39 Rogfast project is a 26.7-kilometer-long subsea road tunnel – the Boknafjord tunnel – between the municipalities Randaberg and Bokn in Rogaland County, Norway. The project is divided into segments, and the contract Skanska has signed is called E04 Boknafjord tunnel North.
