An expansion and renovation project is underway at Florida Heart Associates in Fort Myers, Florida. The project team includes Stevens Construction and PRA. Stevens Construction is providing a complete interior renovation of the two-story, 25,374-square-foot building, which includes an upgrade of all exam rooms, nurse stations, offices, lobby and the cardiac PET equipment. The general contractor is also expanding the existing building with the new construction of an ambulatory surgery center. Ground Broken on Rehab Unit for West Marion Community Hospital
Ground was recently broken on West Marion Community Hospital’s inpatient rehabilitation unit for Ocala Health. Located in Ocala, Florida, the nearly 44,500-square-foot, 36-bed expansion will become the hospital’s first inpatient rehabilitation unit. The unit will also feature a gym for physical and occupational therapy, as well as its own dedicated dining area. It is slated for completion in late 2022. Robins & Morton is serving as the general contractor and Gould Turner Group is the architect.
Remodels, Construction Complete on CVS Health Clinics
Open store remodels and construction are complete on new Minute Clinic/HealthHUB clinics at CVS Pharmacy locations in Leawood, Kansas; Chattanooga, Tennessee and St. Louis, Missouri. The projects included constructing new Minute Clinic/HealthHUB clinic rooms, waiting room, pharmacy consultation room and a group sales room. Knoebel Construction was the general contractor on the $350,000 project. Each 10,000-square-foot CVS location also was modernized with new finishes, including paint, flooring, millwork, brand signage and shelving. Construction Underway on Kurita U.S. Headquarters in Minneapolis Suburb
Ryan Companies recently closed on land in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, where it will develop the new U.S. headquarters for Kurita America, Inc., a producer of water treatment solutions. The build-to-suit will be located at Ryan’s business park development, 610Zane. The City of Brooklyn Park approved the project on March 30, and Ryan began construction on April 13. The location will stand as Kurita’s U.S. headquarters, which is comprised of a consolidation between Tonka Water out of Plymouth, Minnesota; Fremont Industries out of Shakopee, Minnesota and US Water out of St. Michael, Minnesota.
