Construction has begun on a new £6.4-million multistory car park at Queen’s Hospital Burton, located in England. The project is being delivered for University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust to improve the experience for visitors and patients. Set over three stories, the car park is being built on land behind the treatment center on the hospital’s main site, and will provide 425 additional spaces, including designated electric charging points. Royal Holloway, University of London, has appointed Balfour Beatty as preferred bidder for the development of a student village in Egham, Surrey (England). In partnership with Royal Holloway under a 50-year concession contract, Balfour Beatty will design, build, finance and operate, alongside Student Living by Sodexo, a new 1,400-room student village at Rusham Park.
