Ireland’s National Transport Authority has selected Jacobs to provide client-partner delivery services for the BusConnects Dublin, Core Bus Corridors Infrastructure Works Program. This critical, 10-year program comprises 12 core bus corridors planned to deliver a substantial upgrade to walking, cycling and bus infrastructure in Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area, while addressing climate change. CPB Contractors is delivering the design and construction of the Waikeria Prison development project, a major investment in New Zealand focusing on rehabilitation with fellow CIMIC company, Pacific Partnerships, as part of Cornerstone Infrastructure Partners delivering the public private partnership corrections project. Bechtel Celebrates Opening of Riyadh Metro Project

The official inauguration of the Riyadh Metro network was recently celebrated. As Saudi Arabia’s first underground railway project, it is expected to initially serve 1.2 million daily passengers, with ultimately a planned maximum capacity of 3.6 million passengers daily. The project was delivered by the BACS consortium, which includes Bechtel, Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company and Siemens.
