A mixed-use project with a usable floor space of around 40,000 square meters is being built on a site previously used as a parking lot in Muthgasse, located in Vienna’s Döbling district in Austria. Construction Begins on Major Military Aircraft Hangar in South Australia

General contractor BESIX Watpac has begun construction on the $200-million Deep Maintenance and Modification Facility adjacent to the Royal Australian Air Force Edinburgh base in northern Adelaide, South Australia. The project is one of the largest ever undertaken by Renewal SA, the South Australian Government’s urban development agency, and is a key development in enhancing Australia’s military infrastructure. Veolia has awarded VINCI Construction, through its subsidiaries VINCI Construction Grands Projets (lead contractor), GTM Sud-Ouest TP GC and Chantiers Modernes Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the design and build of a new household-waste-to-energy plant located in Corrèze, France. Situated near Brive-la-Gaillarde, the household waste-to-energy plant will replace the existing plant. It will have a treatment capacity of almost 10 tons per hour (79,000 tons a year), equivalent to the annual waste produced by 200,000 residents.
