Contract Signed to Build Longest Suspension Bridge in World

Italy’s Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development recently approved the definitive design for the Strait of Messina Bridge. The design also includes a series of significant complementary works strategic for the area. The approval follows the signing of the addendum to the contract between Stretto di Messina, the concessionary company and Eurolink, the general contractor led by Webuild. Located in the Leiden Bio Science Park West in the Netherlands, Nexus Leiden comprises 9,100 square meters over four large floors, housing laboratories and offices to support the critical work of life science, health and pharmaceutical companies. With its construction site nestled in a busy science park, modular construction techniques were employed to minimize the timeline, space and onsite disruption of the building’s construction. CSCEC has held a topping-out ceremony for the Batam United Square Project in Indonesia, marking the completion of the main structure of the high-rise, mixed-use complex in Harbour Bay’s business district.
