BESIX, in partnership with Trojan General Contracting, has delivered the Zayed National Museum, a landmark of architectural and cultural significance on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. Designed by Foster + Partners, the museum stands as a tribute to the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The Abu Dhabi Investment Office, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, along with consortium partners BESIX and Plenary, have inaugurated the Zayed City Schools. Developed under the UAE’s first public-private partnership model for school infrastructure, this milestone project sets a new standard for private sector participation in the development of Abu Dhabi’s social infrastructure. Dubai ‘Office of the Future’ Sets Guinness World Record

Recently, the 3D-printed Dubai landmark, Office of the Future, set a Guinness World Record as the first 3D-printed commercial building in the world. China State Construction Engineering Cooperation Middle East, general contractor on the project, has served throughout the process from design to construction. Adjacent to the Dubai World Trade Center, the Office of the Future is a 250-square-meter building that has built-in activity centers, offices and lounges.
