Camerino Academy of Music Delivers Role of Modern Reverence in Italy

The recently reconstructed Academy of Music, delivered in Camerino, Italy, completes the project initiated by the young Harcome studio, Alvisi Kirimoto and the Andrea Bocelli Foundation. Carried out in compliance with the scheduled timing of only 150 working days, the reconstruction ranks as the third post-2016 earthquake intervention in central Italy, one of the most affected by earthquake events. Hill International Selected as Project Manager for $4-Billion Monorail Project

A contract to provide project management, design review and implementation supervision services for the New Administrative Capital City and 6th of October City Monorail project in Egypt has been awarded to Hill International. Esh Construction Awarded £10m Contract for Hexham Bunker Retail Development

Esh Construction’s commercial build division has secured a £10-million contract to transform the Hexham Bunker into a 69-bedroom Travelodge and Lidl retail outlet. Delivered on behalf of Union Property Development (Hexham) Ltd., the retail development will be based on land formerly used as a nuclear bunker and will also provide a new 250-space public car park for the town. STRABAG Breaks Ground for New Training Center in Austria

Construction company STRABAG recently celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its new apprenticeship training center in Ybbs an der Donau, Austria. The company is investing a total of approximately € 10 million in the new location, which will have the capacity to train some 250 apprentices a year. After completion of the building permission application, the groundbreaking marks the start of construction as planned on the 31,000-square-meter site. VINCI to Rehabilitate Louis Hippolyte Lafontaine Tunnel, Montreal

The Quebec Ministry of Transportation has selected consortium Renouveau La Fontaine, comprising VINCI subsidiaries – Eurovia, consortium leader and Dodin Campenon Bernard – and Canadian company Pomerleau, to rehabilitate Louis Hippolyte Lafontaine Tunnel and its access roads. The tunnel was opened in 1967 and is the longest underwater structure in Canada, covering a distance of 1.5 kilometers beneath the Saint Lawrence River. It is a strategic transport corridor for the Montreal urban area, linking the eastern part of the Island of Montreal to the city of Longueuil.
