The design and construction of a new five-form entry secondary school in North West London, England has been completed. BAM was appointed to deliver the scheme by the Department for Education under its National Education Framework. North Brent School, part of the Wembley Multi-Academy Trust, will provide 1,150 places for pupils in years seven to 13, in a new state-of-the-art, sustainable school building, with an interlinked sixth-form block. CPB Contractors has completed the final concrete pour for its delivery of Australia’s Sydney Metro Gadigal Station South over station development project, which will become Indi Sydney—Sydney CBD’s first purpose-built, build-to-rent tower. A topping out ceremony was recently held onsite to mark the completion of all pours on the 39-story structure. The completed structure stands just over 110 meters high and required more than 9,200 cubic meters of concrete, more than 1,500 tons of reinforcement and 1,000 tons of post-tensioning.
