HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital Completes Phase One in $60M Expansion

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, located in Port Charlotte, Florida, has completed phase one of its $60 million expansion and renovation project that increases the hospital’s capacity and broadens its offerings. Opened to the public on May 13, the project included expanding critical care units by 12 rooms, increasing the number of pre-operative treatment areas to 43 bays, renovation of the main lobby, waiting rooms and registration areas and the addition of a chapel and coffee shop. A grand opening was recently celebrated for the new Jeffrey T. Fort Neuroscience Research Building for Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
