MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Mortenson Construction will break ground on the new Destination Medical Center Discovery Square development in Rochester, Minnesota. Mayo Clinic will serve as anchor tenant and will lease 30,000 square feet across three floors in the upcoming life science research and innovation building, which is adjacent to its historic campus. ATLANTA, Ga. – Winter Construction has topped out the new seven-story, 173-key hotel in the historic River Street area of Savannah, Georgia. With more than 175 attendees, the event celebrated the superstructure being completed and all of the hard work of the company, its partners and subcontractors. Ground to be Broken on $68M Chappaqua Crossing

QUINCY, Mass. – In one of the largest ground-up development projects in its 40-year commercial real estate history, The Grossman Companies, Inc. has partnered with Summit Development to develop a high-end 120,000-square-foot, $68-million retail development on 19 acres at 480 Bedford Road, part of the long-time, former Readers Digest world headquarters located in Quincy, Massachusetts. Skanska Renovates East End of Las Olas Boulevard in Florida

Skanska has signed a contract with the city of Fort Lauderdale for the Las Olas Boulevard improvements project in Florida. The contract is worth $49 million. The contract consists of the construction of an approximately 258,000-square-foot, 670-space parking facility, an amenity deck, a beachfront park with green spaces, architectural shade canopy, interactive water feature and streetscape improvements to the entire beach corridor. Clark Completes ‘LAX Terminal Shuffle’ Milestone

Clark, in a joint venture with McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., has completed a monumental task on the Delta Enabling project. The Clark/McCarthy team performed the orchestrated relocation of more than 30 airlines and tenants to terminals throughout Los Angeles International Airport. The “LAX Terminal Shuffle,” as it was coined by local media, migrated Delta Air Lines’ operations from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3.
