The Siemensbahn, a historic landmark of Berlin, Germany’s transport infrastructure, is being reactivated after more than 40 years of disuse. As part of the “i2030 – More Tracks for Berlin and Brandenburg” project, a modern, high-performance link between Jungfernheide and Gartenfeld is being established. New Kirjalansalmi Bridge Opens to Finland Traffic

The Kirjalansalmi Bridge, Finland’s longest road bridge by clear span, has officially opened, marking a major milestone in the country’s transport infrastructure. Commissioned by an alliance partnership between contractor Kreate and the Finnish transport infrastructure agency Väylävirasto, the new bridge replaces the existing 1963 suspension bridge that had reached the end of its lifespan due to fatigue damage.
