A report from FMI Consulting forecasts continued growth of design-build over the next three years, despite recent industry challenges and market volatility. FMI’s findings indicate that design-build is anticipated to account for 47% of construction spending and a 22.5% growth in total design-build spending by 2026. Building on FMI’s 2021 report on design-build utilization, the survey reexamined the industry following the challenges of the past three years, including the COVID-19 pandemic, labor shortages and supply chain issues. Design-Build Team to Deliver Future Police Station for City of Nice

The French Ministry of the Interior, in association with the city of Nice, France, has retained general contractor VINCI Construction subsidiary Dumez Côte d’Azur and architect Wilmotte & Associés to build the future police station for the city of Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes department of France. Ground Broken on Bus Garage Reconstruction Design-Build Project

The groundbreaking of Northern Bus Garage Reconstruction project, located in Washington, D.C., was recently celebrated by representatives from Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Federal Transit Administration, the District of Columbia and Clark Construction Group. Clark is serving as Design-Builder. Located on 14th Street Northwest, the new garage will house up to 150 zero-emission buses, aligning with Metro’s goal to transition to a zero-emission bus fleet. Snapdragon Stadium Kicks Off New Era for San Diego

This fall’s football home opener for the San Diego State University Aztecs kicked off an exciting new era for the California school.
