Poland’s Largest Railway Hub Opens Post-Modernization

The largest railway junction in Poland, the Warsaw West station, has recently opened following almost five years of comprehensive modernization conducted by Budimex, the Polish subsidiary of Ferrovial. Located in the western part of Warsaw, the station serves up to 60,000 passengers and accommodates nearly 1,000 trains daily. The Siemensbahn, a historic landmark of Berlin, Germany’s transport infrastructure, is being reactivated after more than 40 years of disuse. Bouygues Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, has been selected to refurbish an office building located at 1-3 Place Valhubert, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. This project, carried out for Crédit Agricole Assurances, involves substantial restructuring of around 22,000 square meters of floor space.
