The Te Pae Christchurch Convention and Exhibition Centre, designed and constructed by CPB Contractors, has won the Civic Project Award at the 2022 New Zealand Commercial Project Awards. Located in Central Christchurch in New Zealand, the CCEC draws on its South Island location with a sweeping curved façade consisting of over 42,000 individual mounted tiles representing the contours of the Southern Alps and braided Canterbury Rivers. BESIX Contributes to New State-of-the-Art School Campuses in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, has awarded the contract for the Zayed City Schools public-private partnership project to a consortium led by BESIX and Plenary Group. The Zayed City Schools PPP project, located in the United Arab Emirates, includes the design, build, finance, maintenance and transfer of three new school campuses with a capacity of 5,360 students in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed City. Two PCL Projects Win Green Building Excellence Awards

Two PCL Construction projects received national green building awards at the recent Canada Green Building Council’s Building Lasting Change conference. The Roam Transit Operations and Training Centre, located in Banff, Alberta, won the Zero Carbon Design Award, and the Ken Soble Tower at 500 MacNab, located in Hamilton, Ontario, won the Deep Carbon Retrofit Award. A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for the €840-million Diriyah Square – Package 2 Super-Basement Works, a mega, multi-level car park to be built for 10,500 vehicles in Riyadh, located in Saudi Arabi.
