Construction has begun on a new £6.4-million multistory car park at Queen’s Hospital Burton, located in England. The project is being delivered for University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust to improve the experience for visitors and patients. Set over three stories, the car park is being built on land behind the treatment center on the hospital’s main site, and will provide 425 additional spaces, including designated electric charging points. Phase D provides approximately 39,000 square meters of modern office space and will be the first investment in the region to apply for the WELL Core&Shell certificate. Design-Build work has been completed on the first wastewater treatment plant in Victoria, British Columbia. The McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant provides tertiary treatment for wastewater from the core area municipalities of Victoria, Esquimalt, Saanich, Oak Bay, View Royal, Langford and Colwood, and the Esquimalt and Songhees nations. Work at the facility began in 2017 by Harbour Resource Partners, a joint venture between AECOM and Graham.
