Mixed-Use Project in Austria Awarded to STRABAG

A mixed-use project with a usable floor space of around 40,000 square meters is being built on a site previously used as a parking lot in Muthgasse, located in Vienna’s Döbling district in Austria. STRABAG secured the contract from WBV-GPA in a bidding process. Multifunctionality and affordability are the hallmarks of the project at Muthgasse 50. Construction is complete on the west bed tower at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas. The seven-story, 140,000-square-foot expansion broke ground in early 2023, and will allow the healthcare provider to serve a wider range of patients across Concho Valley. The project team included Hoar Construction, O’Connell Robertson and Datum Engineers. Shannon Medical Center campus spans just over 1.5 million square feet. Neuroscience Research Building at Washington University School of Medicine Opens

A grand opening was recently celebrated for the new Jeffrey T. Fort Neuroscience Research Building for Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Designed to accelerate research in areas that include Alzheimer’s disease and brain tumors, the facility accommodates 1,000 faculty and staff, including 95 research teams. Additional space could be built out in the future to accommodate another 350 faculty and staff, including about 145 research teams. Banner Gateway Tower Expansion Doubles Size of Medical Center Campus

The $243-million, five-story Banner Gateway Medical Center tower expansion project, located in Gilbert, Arizona, is complete. The expansion doubles the size of the medical center campus and is expected to add more than 600 new jobs to the campus. McCarthy Building Companies served as the general contractor on the project.
