Skanska has been selected by the Virginia Port Authority to redevelop approximately 72 acres of the 287-acre Portsmouth Marine Terminal for use as an offshore wind staging port. The $223-million project includes improving 1,500 feet of an existing 3,540-foot wharf. Skanska to Upgrade Durham Bulls Athletic Park
The Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina will be upgraded by Skanska USA. Onsite construction is slated to begin in August and will be completed by April 2023. Skanska’s work at park includes renovations and upgrades to: the players’ locker rooms; coaches’ offices; facilities for female staff and athletes, umpires and team officials; a new batting tunnel; office and retail reconfigurations; and larger clubhouses for both home and visiting teams.
Topping-Out Reached for Radford University’s Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity Project
Skanska has topped out on Radford University’s new Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity on July 22. Located in Radford, Virginia, the 178,000-square-foot building will replace the existing space for the College of Visual and Performing Arts and create interdisciplinary student spaces.
