First Ground-Up Project Complete for Turner Vancouver, British Columbia Team

Turner Construction Company’s Vancouver, British Columbia team celebrated its first ground-up project, with the recent completion of the Heather Place Redevelopment for Metro Vancouver Housing, located in Canada. The project included the construction of a five-story, 67-residential rental unit building, complete with a cast-in-place concrete structure, with fiberglass windows, a combination of metal, cement, brick veneer as well as exposed architectural concrete making up the exterior finishes. The Red Sea Development Company, the developer behind Saudi Arabia’s flagship international regenerative tourism initiative The Red Sea Project, has awarded to date more than 500 contracts to international and local firms. Collectively worth around SAR 7.5 billion ($2 billion), these include awards for the design, build and operation of the following projects: Archirodon is constructing a crossing linking Shurayrah Island (the destination’s main hub) to the mainland, as well as a number of jetties. Hill International Selected as Project Manager for $4-Billion Monorail Project

A contract to provide project management, design review and implementation supervision services for the New Administrative Capital City and 6th of October City Monorail project in Egypt has been awarded to Hill International. Once complete, the two lines will transport approximately 45,000 passengers per hour at peak capacity, greatly improving mobility for Egyptian citizens in a safe and sustainable manner.
