Hoar Construction Breaks Ground on Rehabilitation Hospital Outside of Chattanooga

Hoar Construction announced the groundbreaking of the 54,000-square-foot rehabilitation hospital in Ooltewah, Tennessee, outside of Chattanooga. Hoar is serving as general contractor for construction of the inpatient hospital, which is set to open in spring 2027 and is being developed by The Sanders Trust, with Lifepoint Health as the owner and in partnership with CommonSpirit. The rehabilitation hospital will house 40 beds, with 12 beds used for patients with brain injuries. The Concrete Council of St. Louis & American Concrete Institute Missouri Chapter has awarded S. M. Wilson & Co. a 2026 Quality Concrete Award for the Proposition S  Bond Program projects for Northwest R-1 School District. S. M. Wilson was the Construction Manager at Risk for the bond program, which included updates to every campus in the district. Kenwood Elementary School District celebrated the completion of a multi-phase project delivering modernized facilities and a new Transitional Kindergarten Classroom Building at Kenwood Elementary School. Funded through local Bond Measure F, the projects were designed by Quattrocchi Kwok Architects and built by Ridgeview Builders (Phase One) and FRC (Phase Two).
