Starbucks Canada will open a first-of-its-kind Starbucks drive-thru store in Abbotsford, British Columbia. With near-zero construction waste, the store is designed to reduce energy needs for heating and cooling compared to standard construction builds. According to the Canada Green Building Council, buildings are responsible for almost 40% of global carbon emissions and 50% of global material use. Balfour Beatty to Build £32M National Treatment Centre in Scotland

Balfour Beatty has been awarded a £32-million contract to build a world-class ophthalmology and orthopedic health facility in Inverness, a city in the Scottish Highlands, on behalf of NHS Highland. The general contractor will construct the 8,305-square-meter National Treatment Centre, including 24 inpatient rooms, five operating theatres, clinics and outpatient departments.
