STRABAG SE’s Czech subsidiary STRABAG a.s. will construct the new headquarters of Česká spořitelna in Prague’s Smíchov district (Czech Republic) in a consortium of which it’s a leading member. The complex, consisting of four buildings with a usable area of 75,000 square meters, will intersect the main boulevard with a public passageway where shops, cafés and a multifunctional auditorium with a capacity of 380 visitors will be located. New MOB in New York to Deliver 400,000-SF Class A Office Space

A 30-story medical office building in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side recently topped out. Developed by Extell Development Company, the 400,000-square-foot facility, slated for completion in 2025, will house doctors’ offices, medical treatment centers and retail space on the ground floor. Lendlease provided pre-construction services ahead of the tower’s groundbreaking and is serving as construction manager for the development, which is being built on a full-block site located on the east side of First Avenue, between East 79th and East 80th streets. Renovations Begin on Central Office of Austrian Pension Fund in Vienna

After more than 40 years of operation in Friedrich-Hillegeist-Straße in Vienna, Austria’s second district, the central and regional Viennese offices of the Austrian Pension Fund and the Centre for Outpatient Rehabilitation are undergoing extensive renovation due to signs of aging, such as leaking ceilings or poor thermal insulation. The technical services will be brought up to date and the building will be given an insulation retrofit, with particular attention paid to establishing an ecologically sustainable energy supply.
