DPR Construction marked the topping out of the Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital expansion project in Wildomar, California. The new seven-story, 290,000-square-foot patient tower will accommodate 102 beds to support Riverside County’s growing population. The campus will be equipped with clinical technologies for minimally invasive procedures and advanced therapies, and sustainable infrastructure including energy-efficient LED fixtures and solar panels. A major milestone has been achieved on the Port of Beaumont (Texas)’s Main Street Terminal 1 project — driving the last concrete pile after a year-long process. The milestone was recently commemorated with an event attended by officials from the Port of Beaumont, general contractor McCarthy Building Companies’ employees and trade partners. McCarthy’s project scope includes demolition of a collapsed dock structure and construction of a new general cargo dock with a roll-on/roll-off terminal. The topping out of the Women’s Sports Program Expansion project at Clemson University in South Carolina was recently celebrated. The project expansion has reached its full height for new and upgraded facilities that will serve lacrosse, gymnastics and rowing teams. Brasfield & Gorrie is the general contractor on the project. The new outpatient pavilion at UC San Diego Medical Center, Hillcrest (California) has topped out.
